We used to HATE plans, structures & schedules until they saved us. We would come home after cooking or menu planning for clients and realized there was nothing for us to eat. We were so focused on feeding others, we were barely feeding ourselves.
And no matter how many times we opened and closed the fridge doors, meals did not magically appear.
Our health was declining, we were subsisting on protein bars to get through the day until we completely burned out. Something desperately needed to change.
So, we took the system we had created for our clients and tweaked it so that it would now work for us — a bit of planning, some creativity and a lot of nourishment later, we feel like we found the holy grail of eating well. And now, we’re giving the system to you, so you can thrive!
We are recipe creating and meal planning MASTERS – we ran a meal delivery service where we intricately created menus for hundreds of people. And, we operate a private chef service where we create personalized menus for clients and cook their meals.
We wrote a best selling cookbook, called The Living Kitchen, published by Penguin Random House, which won the Gourmand Award and is finalist for the Taste Canada Awards.
Our recipes have been featured in Washington Post, Food Network, MindBodyGreen, Hello! Canada, Thrive Magazine and CTV Your Morning.
